Happy Monday Y’all!! Hope y’all had the most fabulous weekend! We got to visit with some dear friends whom we haven’t seen in too long for a 40th birthday bash. It was a joint mother and daughter birthday – what a cute idea! The visit was way too short since we drove up to Temple that afternoon and back to Fort Worth that evening. Boy, did we pay for it the next day!! Little M made the trip with us and he didn’t get to bed until 11pm. He’s fights falling asleep in the car! Anyhow, it was totally worth it! Goods friends are like the stars. You don’t always see them, but you know they’re always there!
Anyhow, this is what I wore to the Dior and I Movie premier in Fort Worth. Thanks to my super fabulous friend, Jenny, and Indulge Magazine for getting something as sublime as this to come to Fort Worth! {Had to mention it because we always have to drive to Dallas for fashion-y events!} Anyhow, it was my SECOND time to see this gorgeous film and I loved every sec of it AGAIN. {See my review for the first viewing here.} BTW, did you hear that Raf Simons is stepping down as creative director of Dior? The film took 3 years to make and basically that was his life span at the couture house. Crazy!
I felt super glam in this outfit and made it to the showing just in time. I LOOOVVVEEE this palmer // harding top because of the movement with the tie front and the material. {You can read about my meeting with Levi Palmer here.} Our wonderful babysitter came over early so I had enough time to get changed. You should have seen me 30 minutes to the movie! #YIKES The culottes were perfect to keep with the all white ensemble and still let my heels be seen! I’m definitely a products of the 90s. I LOVE culottes! The trick to wearing culottes is to wear them with heels!
THE STYLE Rx: Wearing ALL WHITE is an easy way to look glamorous, fresh, and chic! Try to keep the same tone (bright white, off white, winter white, etc.) through out the outfit for a luxurious appeal OR vary the whites for effect. Pick your favorite accessories {gold or silver} to accent the white. I chose that hammered bronze and lapis necklace for a subtle statement.
