Alexa Top 500 Website Auction Gets Suspended on Flippa

Posted on the 05 August 2017 by Worldwide @thedomains

Supposedly an Alexa top 500 (Top 100 in the U.S.) website was being auctioned on Flippa, this auction has been suspended the seller looks to now be banned.

The URL was hidden and you needed to sign an NDA to gain access. The bidding originally had a starting price of $1m. A couple days later when I looked there were 4 bids and a high bid of $1,999 so they changed the bidding parameters.

The numbers posted were impressive. I wanted to see where this thing went and see if we found out the name, I wasn’t signing an NDA since I would not be bidding.
