Fernández is a world-class artist and representative of traditional and modern Mexican music. He first pursued a solo music career after the success of recording the hit song, “Amor de los dos,” with his father, Don Vicente. In 1992, his self-titled album was a huge success and broke record sales for the Ranchero genre.
He surprised audiences with a fresh approach to traditional Mexican music. Introducing the genre to many countries and people regardless of class or age. He has continued to maintain a connection with youth through his more than 14 million social media followers.
Throughout his career Fernández has released 16 studio albums. Six live albums, selling over 30 million albums around the world. He has received two Latin GRAMMYs, three Latin Billboards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, among other notable honors.
