Ake Arts and Book Festival

Ake Arts and Book Festival The Ake Arts and Book Festival is a six day cultural, art and literary festival in Abeokuta, Nigeria. Running from November 19-24, this will be its first year. The theme of the festival is "The Shadow of Memory", with invited guest Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka. Other guests include A.Igoni Barrett, Teju Cole, Tendai Huchu, Alain Mabanckou, Laila Lalami, and Yewande Omotoso.
