Adventure Aberdeen: Victoria Park

By Coupleofidiots @coupleofidiots
Hey Guys,  So this is another installment of Adventure Aberdeen, we went to Victoria Park which is across the road from Westburn Park so we chose to do both on the same day! Victoria Park is very similar to Westburn Park, in that it's probably best to go there for a picnic, or to play some sort of sport in the park with your friends or family on a nice day. Its of course free to go to, and is filled with families, runners and dog walkers all of the time because of the scenery. It's full of loads of different plants, and trees and shrubs and things which is why Steve liked it so much being an Ecology student! It is completely free, and as I said before it's perfect for a picnic, there are not any kids play areas on this side of the road, but Westburn Park has plenty! I love this park because it has so much history, it opened in 1871. And my favorite part was the fountain in the middle made from Fourteen different types of Granite. It's really easy to get to, it's within walking distance from the City Centre, the University - about ten minutes away!
