Aduna’s Heart

By Kathybarbro @KathyBarbro
Aduna’s Heart While I’m on the subject of gushing over student’s art, here’s another one from an older boy, a 3rd grader named Aduna. This was a simple color lesson (warm oil pastel colors inside, cool outside) but look at what he made! The richness of this art is amazing, and the green rectangle in particular just seems like the perfect touch. All I know is that most grown up art seems too careful and overworked in comparison, does anyone else agree?
P.S. I must note that I only use the Portfolio® brand of pastels that you can find at Staples. They are soft and sometimes messy, but the color just glides on the paper and kids love them.
