Ads Worth Watching — Inspiring New Ways to Deliver Messages

Posted on the 24 May 2014 by Chrisbrown @ChrisBrown330

I am a TED fan.  Their presentations make me think and consider new ideas.  The first time I ever heard of TED I remember watching a video about  a clear keyboard that appeared to be just a piece of film.  From there I was hooked. Since then I’ve tried to watch a few TED videos each week.

For the past 10 years, TED has highlighted “ads worth watching”  or “worth spreading” by showcasing 10 ads of the year that make you think.  Since watching and analyzing ads is an ongoing past time to me — (I make it no secret that I watch the Superbowl for the ads) I thought I’d share  some of the insights that TED has compiled.

Here are 10 of the 2014 ads worth watching.  And the 2013 Ads worth spreading report – an analysis

I love watching feel good ads. But do feel good ads actually sell more product? As a branding marketer I certainly hope that people do remember the brand and buy more product with the intention of supporting what they believe in.
