Ad Extensions Will Help You to Double Your ROIs

This valentine day i was looking to create a separate campaign for gifts and flower and i did but it was not giving much conversion then i just thought to why not i should work on Ad extension. I was running thousands of adgroups with various extensions. I identified some campaigns such as hotels, restaurants, gifts, saloon, spa, travel, fashion and jewelry etc. and created various ad extensions. It improves our conversion rates though out campaigns. According to our experience sitelinks and extensions improve user positive intention which result as higher CTR (10-20%) and conversion rate. You should also try these ad extensions:

  1. Call Extensions:  This will help you to get directly call from users. This is very helpful for mobile user’s to get info right away. Industry like restaurant, insurance, b2c, b2b, travel and hotels are getting very good ROIs from this.
  2. Location Extensions: Using location extension will help user’s to find this information is near to him. If you are targeting is at broad location ignore it.
  3. If user will see your logo or product image with your ad it would very effective and it would help your branding as well. This extension is not available broadly but you can request for it. Image extensions only show for 1st positions top ad so your ad should be at top position to enable this feature.
  4. Review extensions: if you got any reviews or rewards on third party sites then you can place it with your ad. This enable your user’s to generate positive mind for your product and services and It shows only for top 3 position.
  5. Sitelink Extensions: I have already written post about sitelink so read the post here
  6. Ratings Extensions: you can show user’s your product or services rating with your search ad. It will also help user’s to understand quality and popularity of your product and services among user’s. You can show any third party ratings of last one year (along with Google Shopping and Google Trusted Stores). You can view your current active reviews by visiting http://www.google.com/products/seller?zmi=xxxxxxx.com(replace xxxxxxx.com with your domain).  If you have a total rating lower than 3.5 stars, it won’t be shown on search ads.
  7. Google+: if you are member of google+ community then you can show user’s many users are following your business, product on Google+. It is helpful to get more followers and user’s would be socially connected.
  8. Previous visit annotation not much helpful but it will keep user notified they have visited this website before by organic or through ad click but it only works for login user’s.

I hope this will really help you to use extension with your ad. Google Adword is providing these great feature for user’s to improve your user engagement with your ad and it will improve your CTR and ad rank. Ultimately these things improve ROIs.
