The New York Daily News reports A Pennsylvania mother accused of fatally shooting her 19-month-old son as he lay in his crib told authorities the gun discharged while she tried to unload it, according to reports.Why was this one arrested immediately while so many others are under investigation or turned over to the DA? Many are just written off as accidents.
Holly Pallone, 26, was arraigned Sunday from Lehigh County prison on charges of involuntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment. Her bail was set at $1 million, The Morning Call reported.
Pallone reportedly told authorities she was planning to sell the gun — a Smith and Wesson .44 caliber — for $200 before “it went off and it hit my son in the forehead.”
