I normally find my abstract art inspirations surfing the web  (I´m very active on this) and they deal with contemporary and non contemporary art (mainly abstract), art articles and critics, contemporary photography, modern art blogs, art exhibitions…. The list is enormous, and each week I find incredible things that help me in my current abstract art creative process.

—- Let´s start—-

The above picture is a Gerardo Rueda abstract painting. Don´t you find it simply fascinating? The combination or color, geometry figures, composition and painting techinique makes this painting of my favorites.

Now let me show some blue abstract paintings and photography found this week. I´m currently a bit obsessed about the Blue color and the concept of space occupancy, so I´m very sensitive to abstract art creations of any kind that incorporate these characteristics.

To finish with this week discoveries, the colorful and surprisings installations of mexican artist Gabriel Dawe. Color mixture and visual game, materials used, light, space occupancy …. Brilliant!!!. It makes me think about opt art as well as some Dan Flavin light installations of the 60´s.
