A Voice in the Wilderness – 9

By None

A voice crying out in the parched desert, to God’s own people: He waits for you all day long; a Prisoner in His own abode. Yet you do not care to visit Him, to sit with Him and speak with Him, because love – true love – is absent from your hearts. You do not care about Him anymore than you care about others – and that is none at all, for you cannot genuinely care about others unless you allow Him into your hearts and let Him care for you first.

Note: Written in the Upper Room, on the vigil of Pentecost.
