After weeks of speculation, Xiaomi finally launched the much-awaited Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro in the Chinese market last week. The smartphone is not only attractive in terms of design, but also claims to be efficient in terms of performance, as it houses the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Today at 10 am (local time) cell phones in China were activated. Surprisingly, the company claims that the sales of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro have surpassed the previous generation Xiaomi Civi 3’s total sales in a single day by 200 percent. Needless to say, this amount of sales points to the massive success of the phone.

In a post from their official Weibo (Chinese micro-blogging site) account, Xiaomi happily informed their fans that the sales of the newly launched Xiaomi CV4 Pro phone exceeded 200% of the first-day sales of its predecessor, the Xiaomi CV3. Notably, the phone was able to achieve this feat in just 10 minutes, which is really a big deal for the company. In terms of price, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Xiaomi CV4 Pro has been priced at 2,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 34,625). And the higher 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage and 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage versions are priced at 3,299 Yuan (approx. Rs. 38,650) and 3,599 Yuan (approx. Rs. 43,170) respectively.

Specifications of Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro

The Xiaomi CV4 Pro features a 6.55-inch AMOLED CSOT C8 display with curved edges. The screen supports 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. This Snapdragon 8S Gen 3-powered device is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone runs on Android 14-based HyperOS software.

For photography, Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro’s Leica optimized rear camera setup houses a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50E primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), coupled with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. has And the dual selfie camera system on the front of the phone includes a 32-megapixel primary camera and a 32-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

For power backup, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro uses a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Also, other features of the phone include in-screen fingerprint scanner, metal frame, 4,184 sq mm heat dissipation system, IR blaster and linear motor. Incidentally, Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is rumored to be available only in the Indian market apart from China. A recent report claims that the device will be launched in India as the Xiaomi 14 Civi.
