Isn’t it nice that we can go to the Lord about any and everything?
He is nothing like people.
He will not misunderstand us or misinterpret our words. He will not be confused by or twist our words around when we cannot get the right words out, just do not know exactly what to say, or when we express a mood.
We are completely safe around God.
He will not underestimate our ability and capacity. He will not exaggerate our situation or circumstance to be worse off than what it really is.
He will not be surprised or disturbed by our joy, contentment, peace of mind or unaffectedness during certain tragic or negative events.
God knows all areas of our lives. He knows exactly where, when, and how to tend to each and every one of our needs and concerns.
So, lean on the Lord and nobody but him.
Yes, God offers special people within our lives. Whether it is a parent, another relative, a pet, a friend, an associate, coworker- or even a stranger. They may listen and bring comfort.
However, no one will ever truly “know” or “understand” us and what is really at the root of our matter as he does.
In addition, one of the most beautiful things about the Lord is within his relation to us. He interacts with such kindness, compassion and love.
Sometimes I just cannot believe the way he responds to me. The providence he continues to restore over and over again.
The Lord is a God who stands firm in his promises to those who are truly faithful.
