First up! I’m winding down my outreach work with Steve Julian on his world premiere play “What Kind of God?”. We open this Saturday. You probably know that I can’t work on a project, especially doing outreach and marketing, unless I feel really strongly that an artist has something important to say (remember “Gracie & Rose” by Anastasia Coon last summer?). Steve has a passion for telling stories of those silenced by people in power, and created a trilogy project “Silence No One.” The first of these plays is “What Kind of God?”.
This is not a condemnation of the Church, but intended to begin a conversation. You can read more on his blog entry here.
