A Natural Day Look FOTD

Sporting a natural day look is something that I admit is rather effortful for me. It seems pretty ironic, especially since 'natural' should go along the lines of simple, effortless, just 'simply you'. The thing about me is that I either go completely bare faced {lazy days indoors where nothing, not even skin care goes on} or I go darker, bolder eye shadows {the extreme person that I am} which can look a bit heavy in the day. I gravitate towards black, dark blue, gunmetal eyeshadows and the like... lots of eyeliner.... I love my lime greens, reds and pinks on my eyes... I love my brick red, brown-toned, plum lipsticks... I do sometimes wonder if it's too heavy for the day even though my doubts don't bother me enough at the moment. Plus I'm just enjoying the freedom of no work dress code.
Anywho, in conjuction with the theme, I decided to attempt a natural day look. A natural day look, to me, would run along the lines of just a little more polished, more refreshed but none of the full on sculpting and false eyelashes stuff that I sometimes like to dabble with.
How I put an accidental blurry pic to good use
I turned to my trusty Naked Basics palette - quite a no-brainer this one, if I may say! Since my eyes were very much neutral {and so much more plain than I'm used to}, I focused more on the brows and I also used my NARS Bronzing Primer to give a little glow for more dimension.
A natural day look would be incomplete without a dash of natural lip color. Now that I have the entire Carmex range at my disposal {spoilt with lots of Carmex goodies from my Carmex Blogger Partnership - thanks Carmex!}, it's not difficult to take a pick out of my Carmex stash!
