A Cross-Border Trip to Trader Joe's... and Ontario Needs A Trader Joe's
It was such an exciting experience going to Trader Joe's for the first time. The nearest one is a hop, skip, and a jump across border lines for us but it was totally worth it (even though we got very little).
It was either the opening day or had quite recently been opened because boy oh boy was it packed in there! It was slightly overwhelming to be honest. It was like once you went down one aisle there was no turning back or you'd get run over. This has something to do with the diminutive size of our purchase.

Despite only getting a few things they're pretty exciting (well, sugar is sugar but I'm sure it's super fantastic). I'm most excited to try the eggplant garlic spread and the pumpkin butter. We've had variations of eggplant spread before but never have we tried pumpkin butter.

This Pumpkin Butter is mind-blowingly delicious. If you're one of the lucky ones with a TJ's close-by, you probably already know and love this product. We want a Trader Joe's in the GTA -- please, please, please let me get what I want!
