By Alyssa Martinez @ItsMariaAlyssa

Whether trying to slim down for a class reunion, wedding, or just those summer months when our clothing fails to cover us up, we all face the challenge of fat removal.

According to Harvard, 36% of the United States population, or one out of every three adults, is obese. Obesity also is affecting our youth, with 18.5% of children between the ages of two to nineteen being obese.

Dieting and exercise are just one factor in the equation to removing fat. Read on for some great tips on how to lose fat.

Fat Removal Tips

When working to remove body fat, there is a wide range of choices you can make from diet to exercise. These changes will improve the way you look, feel, and impact your health.

1. Add Probiotics to Your Diet

A beneficial bacteria located in your digestive tract, probiotics have a positive impact on your health. By increasing your probiotics through either supplements or your diet you increase your body's fat-burning, helping to keep your weight under control. Foods with probiotics in them include yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, dark chocolate, soft cheeses, and sourdough bread.

2. Drink Coffee

One of the benefits of coffee is caffeine, which is found in almost every fat-burning supplement you purchase. That is because it behaves as a central nervous system stimulant, which increases your metabolism, increasing your body's ability to breakdown fatty acids. Cream and sugar add extra calories, so for the most health benefits drink it black.

3. Exercise

Increasing your cardio exercise is one of the most effective ways to burn fat. This beneficial movement increases muscle mass, helps with belly fat removal, reduces your waist, and leaves you feeling energized. Walking, running, swimming, and bicycling are some of the cardio exercise methods you can use to burn fat during your weight loss program.

4. Eat Fiber

By increasing your high-fiber foods you protect your body against fat accumulation and weight gain. Soluble fiber absorbs water, and because it moves slowly through the digestive tract it helps you feel full for a longer period of time. Snacking on fruits, legumes, nuts, seeds, whole grains, and vegetables will promote your body in removing fat from your system.

5. Get Enough Sleep

Getting a sufficient amount of sleep has a positive impact on your body's ability to burn fat and helps prevent weight gain. Sleeping five or fewer hours per night may result in weight gain. Sleeping a minimum of seven hours a night will increase your ability to lose weight.

6. Eat Protein-Rich Foods

By including protein-rich foods in your diet you will burn fat and reduce your appetite. It also helps increase your metabolism and helps build muscle mass. Protein-rich foods include dairy products, legumes, seafood, eggs, and meat.

7. Manage Your Emotions

Many people, especially women, are prone to falling into an emotional food trap. For instance, you are out for dinner and everyone is having dessert. You do not want dessert, but they are pressuring you to join them, so you finally cave-in and order.

This type of people-pleasing behavior can cause you to gain weight. You may also fall into using food as a crutch, using food as a comfort measure. People who experience negative emotions such as anger, anxiety, and guilt have a tendency to be heavier than those with more positive emotions.

If you find your emotions impacting your ability to lose weight, you may want to consider contacting a local company for assistance. There is a wide range of weight loss groups, emotional support groups, to places where you can boost your self-image through the use of cellulite and fat removal.
