585 Music Scene Track Review: For Your Heart and Mine

So, this is a part of a new thing I'm gonna try doing, which is posting about songs in my local scene. This is partly to outreach to local musicians, and maybe set up a few shows locally. A while ago I created the "585 music scene - Unplugged" for acoustic musicians. It has some members and people do post, I don't know how affective it's been yet, but I'm glad it exists, I still think it has some potential. On it, someone posted this track called "Tell me Your Alive" from what I gather is an acoustic duet under the collaborative name "For Your Heart and Mine."
They only have one posted so far, but it's pretty good! They say it's an "unfinished" demo, but I think with maybe a couple corrected vocal bits the song has all it needs. The two male singers harmonize very well together. If I had to give a critique it would just be in some of the tonalities to one of the members voices which is pretty nasally and unexpected when you first hear it, but it's not bad and he controls it well.
Rhythmically and melodically the song is solid. It holds my interest the entire time, and it leaves me wanting to hear more from these guys. All in all, it's a well composed, well performed track, and well produced! The song gets a 3.5/5 in my book. Kudos to them!
