Enjoy your meal in one of the most select and romantic rooms in Surrey. The dining room at La Rive is beautiful and is perfectly lit with candles and delicate lights embedded in blossom. The team at La Rive have completely transformed this restaurant and is a definite welcome on a high street that is mainly cluttered with cafeteria style chain restaurants.

The service at La Rive is impeccable. The restaurant is professionally staffed with excellent knowledge of the food they serve and the wines on their list. Food is served with humor and guests are made to feel very welcome. The intimacy of the dining room really helps with this.

Enjoy a three course fixed menu or choose from the la carte menu. We decided to opt for the a la carte which had some really interesting and impressive choices. The beef cheek and Salmon for main were superb as were the scallops for starters. They also have a well-rounded Sunday lunch menu which sounded perfect for some time in the future.

The sides on offer at La Rive were of excellet quality. The dauphinoise potatoes were our favorite and were one of the best versions of this dish we have ever had. Simple sides such as green beans were served fresh and hot and were delicious.

If you have room then you may want to order a dessert. La Rive dessert menu suggests suitable wine pairings for each choice. We opted for the chocolate pudding which was excellent and the cheese and biscuits which were plentiful and served at the correct temperature.
