5 Things I Love About Canmake Powder Cheeks Blush (PW28 Sweet Coral)

By Sparklingker @sparklingker

Canmake Powder Cheeks Blush

First things first, this is my first ever Japanese drugstore blush. I totally regret not buying more of these Canmake blushes in Taiwan. After trialling them for the past 4 weeks, I’ve come to realised how awesome these blushes truly are. When I was in Watsons, I had no idea what to buy. So I picked the safest option and that was the Canmake Powder Cheek in PW28 Sweet Coral. One of the best random purchases ever! Sweet Coral is a coral-pink and I imagine this will go well with most skin tones. The blush has some micro shimmer in the pan but when swatched, it doesn’t show up much. It actually looks like a matte blush when worn. One of the great things about this blush is you can pile on as much blush as you like and it won’t look cakey.

A microparticulate powder that will create natural definition. Just dust lightly over your cheeks for a warmer complexion and a more colorful look.

Why it’s fab?

  1. Blends easily –  Using my Sigma angle brush, it applied evenly and blended so beautifully.
  2. Nice texture –  The texture is very soft and fine.
  3. Long lasting – This has been my daily blush for the last four weeks. I normally get about 8 hours wear out of this blush which is not bad at all.
  4. Great pigmentation – This blush has the most incredible pigmentation. A few strokes on the cheeks is all you need.
  5. Travel friendly – The packaging is very compact so it’s perfect for traveling or in your everyday makeup bag.

Additional info:

  • Made in Japan
  • Price: ~$13AUD

The blush is encased in a clear plastic case with a small brush. The clear case makes it easy to see how much product is left and the brush itself is quite soft but found it too small to use.

These are really amazing and well-made drugstore blushes. If I ever get the chance of purchasing more, I would perhaps buy at least another 2 or 3 more. For those who aren’t into shimmery and shining cheek products – this is definitely something for you.
