Paper, Scissors, Stoneis an exhibition and auction of 38 high-quality works on paper, textiles and sculpture from a selection of emerging and under-represented artists, celebrating the different mediums and each artist's individual creative process. Starting prices are between £80 and £3500.

Experience the fun of a live public auction
The Auction Collective is an exciting new initiative changing up the age-old auction model to make affordable art more accessible to everyone and allow a broader audience to experience the fun of a live auction, while celebrating the incredible talent of today's contemporary artists. In so doing they have created simplified registration and bidding technology that feature downloadable bidding paddles, they collaborate directly with the artists and, uniquely exclude the buyers commission from the overall auction equation, what people bid is what they pay.

Let's celebrate Paper, Scissors and StonePaper, Scissors, Stone is all about how artists work with paper, textiles and sculpture. In uniting these diverse mediums the exhibition aims to provoke a dialogue between the different textures, delicacies and forms, whilst celebrating each artist's individual creative process.

From the next big thing to more established names
The Auction Collective has sought out an exciting set of artists to work with including recent graduates from The Royal College of Art, Slade School of Fine Art and Central St Martin's, amongst them Eleonora Sher and Isobel Napier, who both graduated in 2018, alongside more established names such as: Debbie Lawson, Luke Eastop, Tisna Westerhof and creative duo DR.ME.

The Auction Collective is taking off... don't miss it!The Auction Collective was set upby former Christies Auctioneer Tom Best in 2017. Although early days Tom has hosted a number of hugely successful auction events and has got the art world gripped with big collector fans and celebrity art world figures such as Tracey Emin in his following. Paper, Scissors, Stone is the fifth auction presented by The Auction Collective, having previously partnered with Creative Debuts for two auctions focused on emerging artists, Narcissus Arts on Far From the Madding Crowdand most recently, an auction celebrating the creative influence of the sea on today's artists.
