5 Make-Up Bag Essentials
01. PrimerSince I first began using a primer, I have never applied my foundation without it. A primer allows my foundation to effortlessly glide onto my skin, and also creates a flawless finish. My current favorite is the MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance mainly because of the natural glow it gives my skin.
02. VaselineA real basic but something I can't go a day - maybe even an hour without. This is the first thing I apply when doing my make-up, as it stops foundation sticking to my lips. It keeps my lips soft and smooth all the time and acts as a perfect base to any lipstick.
03. BronzerI tend to go for quite a pale foundation, not only because I have very pale skin but also so I can avoid ever looking tangoed. After applying foundation, I like to bronze my face a little as it brings out the features of my face that aren't usually visible, like my cheek bones for example. My all time favorite is Bourjois Bronzing Powder (the one that has a delicious chocolate smell).
04. Natural LipstickYou can't go wrong with a classic lipstick shade. I have recently got more into wearing a lipstick and now go for a neutral shade on a daily basis. I feel it makes my lips more prominent and just finishes off an everyday make-up look. My current favorite is MAC's Lipstick in the shade Angel.
05. Eyebrow GelEyebrows have become a big fashion over the past year or so. Although I don't do much to mine, I find an eyebrow gel really useful. I simply comb through my brows with the gel just to brush them into shape, and set them ready for the day. My favorite to use is No7's Lash/Brow Perfect.
