It’s almost Chinese New Year and I’m in a state of panic – I have nothing in red or brightly coloured clothes to please the traditional relatives. Actually, skip the panic – I’m pretty much resigned now. Oh well, if I don’t have colourful clothes, at least I’ve got a tint of color on my face. Somewhat.

I say…
- It comes in a small frosted glass tub with a twist-open cap.
- There’s barely any scent to the product.
- It comes as it is – no spatula or any application tool. Make sure your fingers are cleannnnn.
- I use my ring finger to gently dab at the surface of the tub, and it usually picks up enough for one cheek.
- It’s a mousse texture that immediately goes on powdery.
- The color is slightly intense, so be sure to blend it out properly or you’ll have strange pink streaks (and to add to the rhyme – will make you look like a baboon’s cheeks hurhurhur).
- It goes on really smoothly, like really finely ground powder, and slides across your skin.
- Thankfully, it doesn’t seem to sink much into my pores.
- The color is a natural flush with a slightly matte finish.
- After 6 hours of wear, there’s still no oxidisation.
- I prefer to use this on my cheeks than my lips cos of the texture – powdery lips aren’t that awesome. It does give a faint pink tint, but it disappears pretty quickly if you’re drinking and eating.
Overall, a pretty decent blush on days when I feel like my sebum glands are in overdrive and I don’t wanna have too much glow on my face. You can buy it online at Stylenanda’s website.
