3B's Clan heads to Santa's Magical Kingdom Opening Night

Santa Clause is coming to town, Santa Clause is coming to town, Santa’s Magical Kingdom has arrived in town.  So I piled the family into the car, mind you I had just got off a flight from Sydney and straight to Caulfield so I was pooped- but all totally worth it.

What is Santa’s Magical Kingdom?
Basically SMK is a place where children’s Christmas dreams come true, and even the adults to. We LOVE coming to the big top each year and seeing the true spirit of Christmas coming to life. Well that didn’t explain too much now did it, doh! Well take two- SMK is a very magical place where you can meet your favorite characters such as Rudolph, visit the LEGO Brick zone where you can build some super cute creations, 3B's Clan heads to Santa's Magical Kingdom Opening Nightdecorate (and devour) a gingerbread man, Listen to Mrs. Clause read some Chirstmas stories, 3B's Clan heads to Santa's Magical Kingdom Opening Nightwatch in amazement as Silver’s Circus gives you a taster of their show, 3B's Clan heads to Santa's Magical Kingdom Opening Nighttake a stroll through the magic snow land, ride the free rides and so much more.

Where is Santa’s Magical Kingdom?
Situated amongst the Caulfield Racecourse where parking is plentiful for less then $5, but if you don’t wish to drive then there is a train station literally across the road from the track.
We were a little confused at how to get into the big top though as we didn’t walk in the main entrance and ended up getting a little lost along with another couple as well. I think there needs to be more signage directing you to where the entrance is.
Our Favourite Part
This year once again our favorite part would have had to be the rides. Unlike many other events and festivals you attend you often have to pay extra for the rides, but with Santa’s Magical Kingdom it is included in the cost to get in, which means you can ride again and again and again until your little heart is content.

This year there was all the same rides except for the exception of a snow themed jumping castle, but I also noticed the lines were a lot shorter this year and the girls got to go on everything they wanted to go on.

Prices are kept low
With the carnival types games, Santa photos, the food and even little novelties like flashing lights the prices are kept very reasonable. This year we had Santa photos and got one of the largest packs for well and truly under $50 and were even given the option of being able to buy a video of their Santa experience, which I thought was pretty cool.
The girls got to choose a game to play each and Madison picked the clown and ball game while Hayley wanted to go fishing for a small show bag which actually had ok things in it.

And you can pick yours up from Ticketek. There are many different dates to choose from but you will need to be quick to ensure you get the date you want as I know last year they sold out pretty quickly.
To find out more you can head to their official website, which can be found here- http://santasmagicalkingdom.com.au

The 3B’s clan will be back next year to kick off the silly season, as we have done the past two years (even if it does have me wanting to go home and wrap presents and pop the tree up)!
