The British aircraft-maker, Hybrid Air Vehicles Ltd. has unveiled its’ latest invention – Airlander. The company claims this aircraft to be “the world’s longest aircraft”, as it stands at 302-feet-long. Which is actually 60-feet longer than the biggest airplanes available today.

With a mix design that reminds us of both a blimp and a Zeppelin, Airlander uses technologies from both, as a hybrid airship. The Airlander is also capable of carrying 50 tonnes and can be controlled remotely.

“It seizes my imagination. I want to get in this thing and fly it pole to pole,” Bruce Dickinson, HAV investor told BBC. “We’ll fly over the Amazon at 20ft, over some of the world’s greatest cities and stream the whole thing on the internet.”
