My experience: I liked the texture of the NYX Hydra Touch Powder Foundation. It is not cakey and spreads smoothly on the skin once applied. However, it would have been great to review it properly if I had received a shade similar to my skin. It is very soft on the skin and blends well.
Now how I use the product?
1. As a contour: We often look for a good contour powder or kit, but if you have a dark foundation you need not worry, just try it for contouring your cheeks and nose. I tried the same with the NYX Hydra Touch Powder Foundation in Cocoa and it did a splendid job as it is matte.
2. As an eyeshadow: Brown eye shadows can be a great option for earthy eye makeup. NYX Hydra Touch Powder Foundation in Cocoa makes an excellent shade for brown neutral eye makeup too. I used a very small quantity to give a subtle earthy tone.
3. As a lip colour: want the Kylie Jenner kind of shade on the lips, but dont have a dark lippie? Well when will your dark toned foundation be of use? Mix the shade with a clear lip balm and you get the perfect brown lippie. That is what I did with the NYX Hydra Touch Powder Foundation in Cocoa after lining my lips with the NYX Lip Liner Pencil in Brown.
NYX Hydra Touch Powder Foundation is a nice product, truly matte. It is available in a variety of shades, you just have to pick the right one.
