Raise of hands for ladies who are like me, on a perpetual quest to achieve a truly fair complexion. But with the harsh UV rays that come with staying in a country that is near to the equator, can be tough; coupled with the many elememtals such as stress, grime and pollution caan cause skin to age and dull quickly. So I've put
together some of my go-to products when it comes to regaining some fairness back. #bringingsnowwhiteback1) Clarify skin with a thorough cleansing treatmentYour face is your canvas, and so its important to have a squeaky clean one before the nutrients of other skincare can be absorbed well. This Dermagold 2-step scrub cleanse system, not only exfoliates the toughest of impurities embedded in skin but also nourishes it simultaneously.
First, I start off with the Dermagold Purifying Scrub ($42), a pale wheat-yellow grainy scrub which is rather rich and abit on the oily side so I'd recommend to start off with a 20c amount and only build up the amount if needed. Next, I mix about 3-4 drops of the Dermagold Brightening Revitalizer and mix-massage it into face in a clockwise circular motion, which gives a light cooling feeling as the scrub slowly dissolves, before rinsing it off with warm water.
What essentially happens is that as dead skin is gently sloughed off by the finely-milled grains, the semi-fluid gel prevents skin from drying out by replenishing moisture levels thanks to its Aloe, Chamomile and Cucumber. It also contains Echinacea (or Coneflower), which prevents breakdown of hyaluronan, an essential skin component that keeps it impermeable to toxins and bacterias.Technically though, the scrub already contains a number of emollients and hydrating agents like Jojoba and Shea so its really about layering on the nourishment factor. I love how it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean after!

It does so by addressing the four underlying causes of redness, restoring calm to skin prone to sensitivity, such as Rosacea (skin disorder that causes facial redness, small and superficial dilated blood vessels on facial skin, papules,etc).
This milky, lightweight liquid serum contains an algae extract which reinforces skin's resilience to counteract blotchiness and soothe sensitive skin. Its Willow Herb extract negates damage caused by UV oxidation, and coupled with TriPeptide in order to discourage developing inflammation and also bring down the 'flushing' appearance. The serum also fortifies skin with PHA and patented Bionic complex , thus bringing down sensitivity to redness-inducing triggers. 
For me persay, I do not really have much redness save for the side patches around my nose and cheeks. After daily application for 2 weeks, I observed that the redness lightened slightly, and the skin around the area is smoother, thanks to the additional nourishment of the serum. Like its name, raw skin patches caused by my weekly exfoliation (even though my scrub is a gentle, fine milled one) it brings down the redness and soothes it, observable within 10-15 minutes after application.

3) Rejuvenate and Nourish skin
New to the ISOI is the Green Caviar range; a cousin of the Buckwheat family, the Green Caviar (Commonly known as Sea Grape) is the star ingredient of the range. A multi-beneficial plant; its nutrients not only aids skin rejuvenation but also strengthens the membrane of skin's epidermis, which helps to delay signs of aging by keeping it hydrated constantly.
I first start with the ISOI Green Caviar Speed Whitening Mask (5 sheets, $68).
After removing the packaging, simply leave the mask on for 20-30 mins, then remove and discard when done. The masks is richly pre-soaked with the essence so do gently tap the excess into skin and neck, no need to rinse. When applied, it had a cool tingly feeling as the moistened pieces set to be absorbed by my skin. It would be difficult to judge its whitening power in just one use, but I do believe that I felt that my face seemed slightly brightened as my skin seemed to be less dull and diminished redness.
But the ISOI Green Caviar Darkening Zero and Anti-Wrinkle Eye Patch (5 pairs, $68), I'd say is really something. I had chilled it in my fridge prior to use, so it was refreshingly cool and helped with depuffing my puffy eyes caused by water retention.
What I liked its that its length is longer than most usual eye masks, so that it can extend up to the corners of the eyes where it is prone to crow's feet wrinkles and laugh lines. In just one application, I observed surprising, that my eyebags were halved in size, and did not look as swollen and dark as before. I know this, because I actually SKIPPED concealer when doing my makeup!
