3 Ingredient Easy Chocolate Fudge

By Courtneysims @courtneynora

homemade fudge recipe

On one of my visits to my grandparents’ house in Irons, MI my Grandma June pulled out a dish of this easy chocolate fudge. She kept it in the refrigerator and it was cold and creamy and so dang good. I still think about the first time I ate this! She shared the recipe with me and I’ve made it several times to bring to parties or to just snack on at home.

It only has three ingredients (there’s a fourth if you want!) and it is really easy chocolate fudge to make ahead or just cool for 2 hours and eat!

Easy Chocolate Fudge Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate chips (I use semi-sweet or a mix of semi and dark!)
  • 14 oz. can Carnation sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A heaping tablespoon of creamy peanut butter (*optional)

Simple Fudge Recipe

Line an 8×8 dish with foil.

Add chocolate chips and condensed milk into a saucepan over the lowest heat setting.

Stir over low heat until everything is melted and combined.

This can take 10-15 minutes. Be patient and keep stirring. When the fudge starts to stick together in the pan, it’s ready! Remove from heat and stir in your vanilla extract and peanut butter (if using).

Spread your fudge into the foil lined pan and refrigerate for 2 hours.

After 2 hours, remove the foil from the pan and peel it away from the fudge. Cut the fudge into squares and keep in an airtight container in the fridge.
