2 Month Home Stretch to the Playoffs and the Pirates Are RISING STRONG AND FAST!

July 30th, and who would have guessed the Pirates would have gained 7 games in one month, but that's exactly what they did. Now they sit tied for one of the 2 wild card spots, and are just 1 game out of first in the NL Central. They are playing the best baseball of any team since late May, so it's not a stretch to say they can overtake Milwaukee and St Louis and start to build a comfortable lead, if they can keep this up. Which, I think they are going to!
Fellows, I really don't think the World Series is out of question this year. I really don't. The pitching is now coming on strong, the bullpen is playing solid after a rough start.... And then you look at the production, especially at key moments from Harrison, Palenco, Walker, and Cutch and this team seems to be gelling nicely. While the pitching isn't as strong as last year, I still think it's pulling out games nicely, and it seems to be improving weekly, which is a great sign heading down the stretch. This team could be rocking and rolling heading into the postseason, which I truly have a feeling is not only going to happen this year, but be a real fun ride! Just watch fellows.
