2 Ingredient Pizza Dough and Weight Watchers Pizza

Our family is working on getting healthier and we have been using Weight Watchers recipes and concepts to do it. We'll be sharing the best recipes we have made with you in the coming months. We still make great comfort food and not everything will be points driven at Kelli's Kitchen. "Everything in moderation, including moderation." Oscar Wilde

This is one of our favorite recipes because this low points pizza crust is great to top with pizza toppings we actually like. With just two ingredients, the whole crust is 12 WWSP points, so you can top it and cut the pizza up any way you want depending on how many points you have or want to spend.

At our house we are not really Greek yogurt or 100% fat free fans, yet this is an excellent pizza crust that does not have any "weird" taste. It actually tastes completely normal and good. You should give it a try.

There are lots of options for pizza toppings that range from 0 points to low points when spread out over a whole pizza. The easiest way to calculate the points per splice is to add up the points for the whole pizza and then divide by the number of slices.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup 100% fat free Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • Optional- Garlic or herbs to add zero point flavor to the crust.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Put the ingredients in your Kitchen aid Mixer bowl using the dough hook for 10 minutes. **No Kitchenaid mixer -Stir together yogurt and flour until a thick dough forms. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until it forms a dough ball.
  • Place ball on a sheet of parchment paper. Roll out to desired size (approximately 10-inches diameter).
  • Place on a baking sheet or pizza pan/stone. Pre-bake for 5-10 minutes before topping the crust. It helps the dough cook through and give you a crisper crust.
  • Top with desired toppings.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until crust is browned and cooked through.

Pizza Sauce: Newman's Own Marinara = 3 points for ½ cup (or make your own for zero points)

Using the Weight Watchers Calculator to figure out points is very helpful.
