113 new gTLD applications passed ICANN Initial Evaluation (IE) today.
The winner of the day might be Uniregistry which had 12 applications pass IE today which had been previously passed over.
Today also saw the most number of previous passed over applications passing IE, by my count 28, thereby making 113 applications passing IE with only 100 new gTLD application being evaluated
Other notable new gTLD extensions passing IE today was the Geo domain .London, the .brand application by Microsoft for .Windows; the brand applications for .Sony, .Ferrari (yes I would like mike.Ferrari); .Samsung; and .Bloomberg
Other applications of note passing IE are two applications for .Broadway, and applications for .Sexy; .Makeup; .Latino.
Google passed IE, just in time for Fathers Day .Dad
After these results, applications with a prioritization number of up to 700 have been evaluated by ICANN with 632 being decided.
