It was a hot night in New York last night, and you never know how that can go as far as folks coming out for Trivia. But I was happy to see 18 teams take part last night, as the bar was crowded and the atmosphere terrific. The scores were tight all night ( we even had a five-way tie for second place at one point), with just three points separating seven teams going into IQ Trivia. But it was the team of Uretha Franklin getting all five IQ questions correct, and jumping from fifth place to the victory with 46 points. Congratulations to them on their first ever Trivia Night win.
Second place was a tie, and for the third straight week, the team of We Come From Behind was involved in the tie! They were tied with Louis C.K. Comeback with 41 points. We broke the tie with the following question: "As of 2011, how many countries in the world are there?" The answer is 195, and Louis C.K. Comeback's guess was closer, so they grabbed second place, with We Come From Behind third.
