I'm a fan of live music. In these past few months alone, I've been to a kirtan and a few concerts. I don't listen to music while practicing yoga (although every now and again, I will put on a chant and do some slow Sun Salutations), I will often incorporate sounds on my exhales. Just about every day, I put on some music and move however my body craves. I have somewhere around 60GB of music in my iTunes library. Yes, music plays a significant role in my life.
I suppose that's why I was excited to learn that entheos is hosting a free 5-day online conference entitled The Power of Music. It's happening May 19-23 and everyone who registers for free receives a 17-song collection of music from all of the speakers. Speakers include MC Yogi, Krishna Kaur, Snatam Kaur, Krishna Das, and Alanis Morissette to name a few. The entire conference is online, so there's no travel required. You can watch each session for free for 24 hours after airtime with the option to purchase recordings and PDF transcripts.
I just signed up, so if you enjoy all types of music as much as I do, I'd love for you to join me. You can learn all about the conference and find the registration form here (no, that's not an affiliate link -- I'm just sharing something that I think is cool and that you will enjoy).
Namaste!
