Doleman, who started out as a linebacker but was eventually moved to defensive end, played for the team from 1985-1993, and also played for Atlanta and San Francisco. Six players were named, and the others are Jack Butler, Cortez Kennedy, Dermontti Dawson, Curtis Martin and Willie Roaf.
Here's more from NFL.com.
While I'm happy for Doleman, who was always an underrated player in his Vikings days, the great Cris Carter was passed over yet again.
And don't get me started as to why the great Purple People Eater Jim Marshall still doesn't have a bust in Canton.
Anyway, congratulations to Chris Doleman and the other five enshrinees, who will be inducted this August.
