I would rather describe it simply as an eggplant purple shade with shimmers. The shimmer is not gold or silver but its a burgundy pearl finish. It is the prettiest burgundy eye shadow I have in my stash.

This eye shadow can be worn in daytime too. You can wear all over the lids or you can smoke out with black or dark brown eye shadow. It would look simply awesome in both ways. I personally prefer to smoke it out. It has some brown red undertones so it goes well with Indian skin tones.

Texture and Pigmentation: The texture is smooth; no fallout though I feel it is less pigmented as you need to build the color to bring out the intensity. One swipe is not enough to show the rich color however you can go as many swipes as you can. It doesn't crease. With a good primer or a good base the color shows off extremely well. I like applying it over a black base.

Staying Power:With a good primer underneath, the staying power on my oily lids is excellent. It stays put for 6-7 hours, though the shine fades a little the color remains there. Without primer it stays for 3-4 hours.

Ratings: 3.5/5Final Words: The color is versatile color for creating Smokey eyes, the pigmentation is slightly bad. You need to really build the color by a lot of swipes. Considering the bad pigmentation, I don’t recommend this is a must have.
