Hank Aaron’s Hall of Fame Induction Speech

By Precious Sanders @pdsanders99

In 1982, one of baseball’s greatest sluggers, Hank Aaron, was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.  I really love the dignity of person and reverence to baseball and his predecessors in this speech.  And, of course, there is the nod to figures like Jackie Robinson and Roy Campanella, who paved the way for blacks in the world of Major League Baseball.
