French Products Haul & Review

By Lotionsandpotions @LotionNPotion
A couple of weeks ago my parents went on a trip to Paris (lucky them!) and my mom bought me back a few goodies (lucky me!).

Apologies for the awful photo - my bedroom in London is not great for taking pictures in apparently!

So the first two items are pretty obvious - Bioderma Crealine H2O which is also sometimes called Sensibio H2O, but it says Crealine on my bottles so that's what I'm going with!
The others are - Top: Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm, Nuxe Serum Creme Fraiche De Beaute 24 hour Moisturising Anti-Fatigue Concentrate, Nuxe Reve De Miel Hand and Nail Cream, Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi Purpose  Dry Oil
Bioderma Crealine H2O:
I absolutely love the Bioderma Crealine H2O and am going to have to stock up when I go to France in few weeks time (exciting stuff!). It's so lovely for sensitive skin as it's the mildest thing I've ever used. There's no scent or perfume, no color and no nasty chemicals. Micellar water  contains clusters of oil suspended in water - these oil mollecules are oil loving and water hating, which means they grab onto dirt, make up and oil on your skin without breaking the skin's natural lipid barrier. This makes them much gentler to use than foaming cleansers.
I have been using this first thing in the morning, simply wetting a cotton pad with the product and swiping it over my face. In the evening, I've been using this to remove my make up as it makes it so easy! I use 2 cotton pads for this  - one for my eye make up and the other for my face. I follow this with my usual Vitamin E cleansing routine which you can read about here.
Nuxe:

I know I've already posted about the Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Blam, but I couldn't wait! I love it so much. You can read a full review here. The other Nuxe samples were a little added freebie when my mom bought the lip balm (I love when brands/shops do that - it always makes you feel like you've somehow got a better deal!).
The Nuxe 24 hour Moisturising Anti-Fatigue Concentrate is next and I have to say I don't love this. I found it really thin and it actually made my skin sting a little. The stinging was reduced somewhat by the application of my Vitamin E moisturiser, but I'm not impressed by any product that actually hurts me to apply! I won't be looking for the full size version of this product.
I feel the opposite way about the other two Nuxe samples and am really hoping to get both of those on my trip across the Channel.
The Reve De Miel Hand and Nail Cream is probably my favorite of the two. It's also quite thin, which is surprising for a hand cream. However, it sinks in like a dream and smells gorgeous - it reminds me of going on holiday and the beach. This is so moisturising and left my skin feeling really soft. I would definitely recommend trying it if you have dry hands. I suffer from eczema on my hands, so hand creams are particularly interesting to me as I'm always searching for the one that's going to make my hands look 'normal'! (I know I promised a post on hand creams a while ago - it IS coming, I promise!)
The Multi Purpose Dry Oil claims to be for face, body and hair and intially I thought I'd only use it on my hair as I don't like to put oily things on my face - I hate the way they feel and it felt like a waste to put the small amount of oil in the sample on my body. I thought that I'd be getting the most out of the product by using it on my hair - and we all know how obsessed I am with hair oils and serums! However, once I'd used it I realised there was still loads of oil left in the sachet, so I used it on my body too. It sank in so quickly and didn't leave a greasy/sticky feeling at all. Very impressed! Be careful how much you put on your hair though!
This has a pretty inoffensive, slightly lemony scent and is seriously light. It didn't weigh my hair down and sank in nicely. It also left my hair feeling really soft, looking super shiny and smelling quite nice. If I run out of  my beloved Mythic Oil in time for my trip to France, I might get myself some of this as I rather like it, though it does depend on how much it is.
