Daily Alkalizing (Vegan) Immune System Boost

This drink recipe is modified from an Ojas Drink with Milk Recipe original to ayurveda. Studying ayurvedic wisdom provides many health benefits.
Ojas is the sanskrit word for "vigor."
Becoming conscious of my ojas and my acids, this drink is increasingly desirable. Also, consuming these alkalizing ingredients is a path to balance ph in my diet. Balancing your ph levels is like re-charging your batteries with optimal charge.

Strengthening Beverage of Choice

In a small sauce pan, boil 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk (store-bought)

Add the following ingredients to the boiling almond milk:
1 mashed or chopped fresh date
4 grated almonds (almonds are pre-soaked in water and peeled)
1/4 teaspoon total of equal parts of cinnamon and cardamom
Let cool and then add 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil.
The preparation of this "drink," will provide delicious pieces of dates and almonds to eat. Straining or blending the drink is optional, for anyone with texture aversions.
Enjoy once a day either in the morning or evening.
