Of course I really support curvy women, but I also feel that by advocating this survey, I'd be saying that it's somehow "wrong" not to be curvy, and that didn't sit right with me.
I am not condemning the survey, because it is great for women to see that being curvy is not a bad thing. However, I do question whether it's right to big this up, and make slimmer girls feel bad because in a sort about way, I can't help feel that the survey implies that being slimmer is somehow not attractive. I don't think that the survey ever aimed to do this, but it's very difficult not to get that impression.
At the end of the day, some women are naturally curvy, whilst others are naturally slim and no matter what body shape you were born with, you are beautiful. Every body shape should be made to feel beautiful, not just one.
For the record, I am not in the slightest bit criticising the survey, because I do honestly think that it's great. I just want to emphasize that whilst I appreciate surveys that make me feel a little bit better about myself, it might not necessarily make other slimmer girls feel too great. And I just wanted to explain that, and to encourage people to see both sides of the picture, so-to-speak.
As long as you are as healthy as you can possibly be, it doesn't matter what shape you are, you are beautiful.
