A Quiz and a Book for the Ages

By Meachrm @BaseballBTYard

I have always been fond of reading George Will’s political columns.  He also happens to be an avid baseball fan.  Some were even hoping he would be the new baseball commissioner after Bud Selig stepped down.  His latest column to bring in the new MLB season was a trivia quiz.  To take the quiz, click HERE.

While I’m on the subject of George Will, I need to ask all my readers if they have read his 1990 book titled Men at work.  If you have, good for you.  If you haven’t, you need to fix yourself.  Quickly.  I think it does a tremendous job of getting into the mind of a manager (Tony LaRussa), a pitcher (Orel Hershiser), an infielder (Cal Ripken), and a hitter (Tony Gwynn).

If you like the finer points discussed on this website, you’ll love the book.
