WINTER WONDERLAND: Vice & Velvet Blushing Phoenix Handmade Body Polish

By Reeseatomic @reeseatomic

Hi everyone! Here we are one-third through the Winter Wonderland series. But don’t despair, there is still PLENTY more to come!

This week, we’re heading back into the shower and this time we’re paying attention to the largest organ of your body: your skin!

Today we’re saying hello to the Vice & Velvet Blushing Phoenix Body Polish.

I love a good body scrub. One you can actually feel scrub away the day’s dirt, pollution and polishes your skin beautifully.

I heard about Vice & Velvet on Twitter first and then followed them on Instagram. They have just some of the most beautifully crafted soaps I’ve ever seen!

I decided to buy from the Vice & Velvet Etsy shop for this series purely because I love Australian homemade products, especially when they’re unique, vegan and not tested on animals.

When you get the product, the first thing you notice is the dried rose petals on the top of it. Very pretty and a nice touch in presentation. You’ll then notice at how dense the product is and you’ll later see that you actually don’t need a lot of it because a little goes a long way.

It contains sugar, olive oil, cocoa butter, organic shea butter, pink and black clay. Just apply to damp skin, scrub gently, rinse and pat dry. Your skin will feel so nourished, soft and hydrated. I like to use this when I’m showering in the evening. After my shower, moisturise as usual, jump into my winter woolies and straight into bed with a nice cup of tea. By the morning, you will see the amazing difference your skin will be in.

Available at Vice & Velvet‘s Etsy store for $13.00 AU, 130g tub + $7.95 postage. Ships internationally (postage vary) and delivery is fairly quick too. They also have many beautiful soaps there that are also just as delicious as this one.
