I am a skincare junkie, but there are some products I always come back to during the winter months. No one wants dry skin and these products are perfect for keeping your skin smooth throughout the harsh winter months.
1.) The Body Shop Peppermint Footcare Line
I love the entire line, but I am especially fond of the foot soak and rescue treatment. I always feel a lot better after treating myself to a pedicure and my feet certainly feel better. The scent of peppermint just adds to the relaxation and makes me feel refreshed.
2.) Aveeno Skin Relief Body Lotion
Perfect for dry, eczema prone skin. This has been a favorite of mine for quite some time and I use it in the morning. It adds great moisture without any strong fragrances. It is lightweight and absorbs quickly.
3.) The Body Shop Satsuma Beautifying Oil
After showering, I love applying this body oil. Unlike a lot of oils out there, this one absorbs quickly and smells divine. It doesn't irritate my skin and leaves it feeling more smooth than a lot of lotions out there.
4.) Victoria's Secret PRO FX Scrub and Balm
To put it simply, this stuff is fabulous. If you have dry, flaky lips, this stuff is your remedy. This product is now part of my nightly routine. The scrub is gentle yet effective and gets rid of any unsightly flakes. The minty balm is perfectly smooth and stays on all night. In the morning, you will have silky lips.
5.) Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer
Lightweight, effective and has SPF 40. Enough said
6.) The Body Shop Born Lippy Balm
My all time favorite lip balm. You can't beat the moisturizing effects and array of yummy flavors. Not only are these babies ultra moisturizing, they give a sheer, glossy wash of color. Gotta love that.
7.) Ponds Dry Skin Cream
I typically avoid products that contain mineral oil, but sometimes I have to break that rule. I only use this when my face is especially dry and nothing else works. Luckily, this makes my skin much softer and does not cause my skin to break out. I always have a container of this stuff under my sink.
8.) The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter
A few nights a week, I like to use something thicker (and smells better) than Aveeno's Skin Relief Lotion or The Body Shop's Beautifying Oil. Enter this wonderful body butter. Unlike a lot of scented products, this does not irritate my skin in the least. It just leaves my skin soft and lightly scented.
