This post will focus on the number of obstruction-penalties each Montreal Canadiens player draws per-60 minutes of even-strength ice-time. It will also communicate how many obstruction penalties each player draws per puck-possession play. An obstruction penalty is described as any penalty for tripping, interference, hooking, or holding the stick. A puck-possession play is any attempted play made while in possession of the puck. Depending on the zone they can include passes, dekes, dump-ins, dump-outs, or shots.
