Where I don't Feel Alone from Esther Boller on Vimeo.
I saw this short film for the first time yesterday. Within seconds I had tears steaming down my face. I can relate to this film, as I am sure all of us can on some level. As many of you know, last August I was struck by a car while in the crosswalk. The experience to say the very least, has been life changing. While many of you may (hopefully) never share the same fate, I know that we share the same experience of being blindsided. The unforeseen struggle of being hit by an hard force, being completely thrown off your path, and being left to recover is something that everyone can relate to. In this, I know I am not alone. Esther in her video tells a story of inexplicable loss. A pain I cannot begin to tap into the depths of; and yet she has hope. Her video is one that morns death, while simultaneously celebrating the joy of being alive. Bless you Esther! You strength is powerful.
