What’s with All the Drama? Scalp Evolution Takes a Front Seat

By Alyssa Martinez @ItsMariaAlyssa

They say that hair is the crowning glory among ladies. But it is often understated just how important it is for men as well. I do not know about you but the first thing that I look at when meeting a middle-aged man for the first time in his head and see just how lucky or unlucky he has been hair-wise. Although not necessarily judging a man, you can tell a lot about how he takes care of his hair or the lack of it.

So why is hair so important, and what is the hope for people like me who happens to have been experiencing an emotional ride with the growth, regrowth and the fear of stopping this cycle? We will answer questions about scalp evolution and most importantly the simple solution to all our worries and problems.

First things First about Scalp Evolution

Hair is considered to be an accessory to our body and does not really serve an important purpose other than the simple sun protection on our scalp. But we all know that appearance counts and if you are a man, this is one of the few things that you can actually do something about and quickly too.

Hair loss is inevitable, at least to most of us. More than half of American males will battle with hair loss throughout their young life and it normally results in a loss. There are a lot of reasons why people experience hair loss and some of them you might already know while some might still surprise you.

Scalp Evolution and the Reasons for Hair Loss

First of all, no one can fight against genetics and it is the main culprit of how some men will have to bother with toupees for the rest of their adult lives. But we know this is a battle we cannot win because our genes are already embedded in our being. We can however still try to turn the tide with the power of science and a few misdirections. You have probably seen your favorite footballer or some celebrity suddenly showing up on a venue like he was ten years younger. This is no magic trick my friends but the result of a few decades of hairline research and millions of dollars poured into that purpose.

If you are reading this article completely out of fear of what might be to come then here are a few tips that might help you out. At the very least, do not stress yourself out too much. I know that balding people are seen to be stressing out all the time and that it somehow makes their hair fall out. There is some truth in this as you might expect. Hormones that stop hair growth gain full speed when you are stressing and thus crushing your dreams for a flowing black rock star hair. And one more thing that you can do is to eat properly. Having a balanced meal in an age where products are being drained out of their nutrition value to cater to an overweight society might be hard but if you are intending to have your locks as part of your look then better lay off the fryer.

Scalp Micropigmentation and The Future of Scalp Evolution

Evolution is a fun term and oftentimes controversial. While society continues to debate whether or not evolution did happen, here we are ready to take the evolution to the next step. As mentioned earlier hair loss is no match for the whole brunt of science as long as you have a few thousands of dollars in tow. And this leads us to scalp micro pigmentation or better known as the hair tattoo. Why it came up with that name will become more apparent as you start to understand the procedure.

There are a few surgical procedures out there that have been successful in renewing a man's hairline. However, none are gaining as much traction as scalp micro-pigmentation. The reason for this is clear. Unlike other procedures, micro-pigmentation seems like the least invasive way to go and surprisingly is quite cheaper too.

So should you do scalp micro-pigmentation and what can you expect if you go through with it? First of all, before you decide to go through with it, know that it will require at least three sessions. But this is not the same for everyone because everyone has different needs. If someone's hairline only needs little blots on a few areas, then the three sessions might be enough. For cases where there might be more work then you should expect a few more sessions than usual.

Scalp Evolution and Scalp Micropigmentation Process

Much like its name of hair tattoo, the micro-pigmentation process uses needles to layer pigments that resemble dots on your scalp. This is a highly technical process that involves precise intrusion into the dermal layer of your skin. Do not worry however as this process is normally done by experts who have had tons of experience before being certified as professionals.

Before everything, you would have to go to a consultant so he or she can examine your scalp. Although rare, there are some cases where it might not be suitable for someone to undergo the treatment. Some of the reasons may include allergy to the material being embedded into your skin much like how some people are naturally unable to get a tattoo for the same reason. The ability or inability to heal yourself due to a deficiency may also be a red flag and should compel you from doing the operation.

One of the reasons why the treatment is stretched out into several sessions is to have to take it to step by step. These steps usually correspond to a certain shade of inkblot to be applied. This way, the surgeon can visually see the work that he has done and proceed accordingly. Finally, you should be able to work immediately after the operation as opposed to other hair treatments that require a few days resting at home.
