What resort in Turkey?

Turkey has been one of the most popular holiday destinations among Poles for many years . The best and most popular Turkish resorts are located mainly in the Mediterranean, Aegean and Lycian Coast regions.

It is worth remembering that the Turkish coasts, especially those located on the Aegean Sea and the Marmara Sea, have been under extreme influence of Mediterranean Europe for many centuries. For this reason, there are many ancient ruins and other tourist attractions, such as old churches and monasteries, in these areas.
The small town of Cesme is located on the Aegean Sea, a place famous for its wonderful beaches and excellent conditions for windsurfing and kitesurfing. One of the most interesting pastimes in these pages are one-day cruises on the surrounding islands, combined with dinner and a disco. Most tourists in Cesme are from Turkey, because the resort is not yet very popular in continental Europe.

Kusadasi and Bodrum, the two most popular holiday destinations on the Turkish Aegean coast, are also an excellent starting point for extremely interesting optional trips. Until recently, Bodrum was a sleepy fishing town, which is why its charm is picturesque, low-rise buildings and the captivating, bustling city center. Kusadasi is a city with two faces. On the one hand, it is a modern resort, full of bars and clubs open until the morning, focused on the huge number of tourists visiting it. But Kusadasi also has an extremely rich history and a lot of archaeological sites, such as aqueducts and mosques. It is also a place where you can relax on almost empty beaches and taste traditional Turkish cuisine.

Antalya and Alanya are by far the most popular of the Turkish resorts on the Mediterranean. Both places are famous for their extensive tourist infrastructure, with an emphasis on hotels and discos, in addition Antalya is a historic city full of monuments. In the center of the old district there are numerous museums, including the most interesting Archaeological Museum in Turkey and a historic covered bazaar. Antalya and Alanya also offer amazing views, sandy beaches and rocky shores.

You should also remember about Oludeniz or Fethiye, places increasingly appreciated on the tourist map of the world, located on the Lycian Coast, west of Antalya. Oludeniz is famous for its blue lagoon, the view of which makes an impression especially from a bird's eye view, and Fathiye is the perfect place to relax and a great base for exploring interesting surroundings. One of the nearby attractions like the village abandoned by the Greeks, which gained the name of the cursed.
In connection with the events of recent months, the question about security in Turkey is natural. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns against traveling to Turkey, but as dangerous areas, it lists the areas of south-east and located on the border with Syria, which are at a considerable distance from these resorts and where no optional trips are organized. Life in the resorts has not changed since last season and it is still peaceful there. Before each planned trip, however, we encourage you to read the official announcements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the safety of travelers
