What I Got For Christmas 2013

By Hhepton

MERRY CHRISTMAS! :D

Okay, so it’s the 28th of December and I probably should have said this before now, but better late than never! I hope you all had an absolutely wonderful time and stuffed your faces silly like I did. I seriously have not stopped eating since Monday I think, my christmas dinner was the yummiest meal of the year, and on Christmas Day and Boxing Day nights I had nightmares from eating too much cheese. I’ve also managed to eat two boxes of after eights, and all of the strawberry and orange creams from some Quality Street tins and boxes we had. That’s what Christmas is all about!

I’ve loved having a little peek at what you’s have all been getting from Santa, and so I thought I’d do my own little post showing you some of the things I was lucky enough to receive :) I’m not including absolutely everything because that would be ridiculous, we’d be here forever and to be honest I already feel rather embarrassed posting this for some reason, so I’ve picked a few and I hope you enjoy having a nosy!

These were my presents from ‘Santa’ (my parents) this year, and I’m not going to lie…. I did know I was getting most of these haha! I had picked them all specifically and even tried most of them on, but at least my mam and dad knew I was getting something I loved :p All of the clothes are from ASOS, and the fox print shirt is Mango but was ordered on ASOS. I had a little trouble with the bag too as the first time I used it yesterday the clip attaching the strap to the actual bag broke off so I wasn’t happy at all, but they swiftly exchanged it for me and my new one came this morning! Very good customer service I must say. I also got a new riding hat, not very exciting if you don’t like horses but I can’t wait to try it out when I go on a nice two hour ride on new years eve. Then the Champney’s set was a lovely surprise as I love nothing more than lots of lovely things to use in the bath  :) Santa brought me a few other things too that I didn’t photograph, a little bread making set that I can’t wait to use, a new scarf, gloves, lots and lots of sweets, slippers, and a new onesie obviously! I’m not sure if Santa reads blogs but if he does, thank you very much!

These were my presents from Alex (my boyfriend), he totally spoiled me! It’s way too much, I must just be a brilliant girlfriend right? :D My main presents from him were some New Balance 420s in the turquoise color that has actually been on my ASOS wishlist for months, and the Dior HydraLife Pro-Youth Comfort Creme that ahhhhhhh I’m just so excited to use! He done well there, I haven’t tried this yet though as in true beauty blogger style I’m waiting until I’ve taken some photos first. He also got me some DERPICORNS! Also known as unicorn slippers to the rest of society, but in my head they are my little derpicorns. A cute pink watch for everyday as I didn’t have one that wasn’t dressy and expensive, and some new earphones with cupcakes on them!

My sister had clearly been taking clues from my Facebook page as I hinted for three of these items on there just before Christmas! These are a few of the presents from her and my nephews, the lunchbox, necklace and shorts are all from ASOS, and I think the shorts are going to look rather lovely with the shirt and boots I showed you in the first photo. That’s a gruffalo mug, and if you don’t know what a gruffalo is then I think you had a bit of a deprived childhood. The running joke on Christmas Day was ‘wow a mug with your face on Hannah!’, Wow, funny!

And finally here are just a few other things that people got me. A giant, snuggly, pink snood from Alex’s dad that will definitely keep me warm when the snow comes, a super cute cupcake had from Alex’s mam, and the 5 year question a day diary from my brother. If you don’t know that that is basically there is a question for every day of the year, but 5 spaces for each answer, so every year for 5 years you answer the same question and see how your answers change as you grow older. I am soooooo excited to start filling this in, and I love that it’s so small so I can carry it around with me everywhere I go!

There we go, Christmas 2013 is over and now I’m feeling very sad and stressed and maybe I’ve got depression because it’s back to uni a week on Monday, and January is going to be the worst month of my life so far. Okay that’s a tad dramatic, I can deal with the revision for exams but I’m having major problemos with one of my lab reports so I may not make it to the end of the month. If you don’t hear from me by February, goodbye forever and please don’t unfollow my blog.

As January is going to be absolutely manic, I’m afraid there may not be many posts from me AGAIN. I have one post I’ve nearly finished writing about some lovely Manuka Doctor products I’ve been using recently that will be going up possibly next Friday, then in January there will probably be one post on a little trip I’m going on soon, and maybe a haul or two. I now need to get back to my work though, as I’m currently sat on my bed surrounded by notes on the digestive system that need to be finished!

Please do send me links to your posts if you’ve done any about your Christmas as I would love to see them, I’ll use them as a sneaky excuse to have a break! :D

P.s don’t forget to follow me on Twitter for updates on if I’m making it to the end of the month. Most updates include sarcastic comments on things I notice on the TV, ridiculous daily wonderings that go on in my brain, and retweets of absolutely anything cute/any animal memes. I’m @hannahhepton, come and say helllloooooo!
