Today’s career tip: Know the answer to this question, “What does success look like to you?”
If you don’t know what success looks like, how will you know when you reach it? I think you might be surprised that success is now. What were your goals a few years ago or your goals for 2014. Did you accomplish them? Sometimes, we are so consumed with our next goals we forget to celebrate our small successes or last year’s successes.
So before you start making next year’s goals, figure out what success means to you. Here’s my answer to that question:
- Helping women change their lives.
- Inspiring others
- Providing for my family
- Being a great mom, wife, daughter, sister and friend
- Supporting others
- Being happy while accomplishing the above.
