What About the 2014 Pittsburgh Pirates

Ok, so yesterday was report date for pitchers and catchers, today was the first workout.
What are everyone's feelings about this years Buccos as we know so far?
To tell the truth, I have not been my typical self this offseason because I can't recall every move that the Pirates have done. (Bad airleg)
What I do know is this: AJ Burnett and Marlon Byrd will be with Philly, Garrett Jones will be in Miami, Michael McHenry will be in Colorado and thank god the fort took Justin Morneau with him.
Of those that moved on, AJ did a lot for the Team and I will never forget that, but I think Byrd is a huge loss and the Pirates should have done just about anything to keep him.
McHenry was the teenaged girl that let us cop our first feel but would never go beyond heavy petting. I really liked manchild Jones, mainly because he is a nice guy but he was streaky at best and will probably never break out as a good bat, well.....Now that he has moved on he will probably have 60 homeruns this year.
The Pirates picked up Pitcher Edinson Volquez (LAD) who sorry I didn't know was still alive, 1B CHRIS MCGUINESS (TEX) a kid that played a couple unimpressive games for Texas last year and should be on the farm.
Sorry I'm sure that there are more, but I just dont know about them, please recap on them.
As I see it, we dont have a 1st basemen, a right fielder, utility outfielder, utility infielder or anyone sitting on the bench that can do anything of value at the MLB level unless one of the minor league guys move up.
Pitching: One of those magical things in life that we will just have to wait and see in the next few weeks as they have good then bad years. Hopefully one or two of the kids are on fire and ready for their own spot on the rotation.
