Wet n Wild Lost In The Wild Flowers Summer 2016 Collection Swatches

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
I am going to go out on a limb and say that this might be the best limited edition collection that Wet n Wild has ever done. The fun, bright colors are perfect for summer and the highlighters will give your skin a gorgeous glow. The quality is great, too. And we all know that Wet n Wild can be very hit and miss.

To me, the most exciting part of this collection are the new metallic liquid lipsticks. I have two of the shades, and I think there are 6 or 8 in the collection. But don't quote me on that. I didn't expect a lot out of these, but I really like them! They feel more like a lip gloss than a liquid lipstick. They never dry down and they give your lips some gorgeous shine. The pigment is insane and because the finish is more of a gloss, the metallic finish isn't too much. They don't dry out my lips at all, nor do they accentuate any dry spots. I have two of the shades: Chrysanthemum's The Word (bright pink) and My Tulips Are Sealed (golden coral). How cute are the names?

Up next are the MegaGlo Multi-Sticks. Wet n Wild released three of these cream highlighters/blushes and I have two of them. Light Up My High-Biscus is a shimmery. golden peachy-pink that makes a beautiful blush. Marigold Round is a cool toned, shimmery nude highlight. I like these, but I don't love them. I find that they sit a little weird on the skin and they can be a little difficult to blend out. The texture feels slightly waxy and Marigold Round has to be built up a little bit. However, they are a nice product to have for days you just want a quick pop of color or a little bit of a highlight that isn't too intense.

The gem of this collection has got to be the MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Precious Petals. This thing is every bit as good as high end highlighters. And it is $3. The texture is soft and smooth, and the pigment is fantastic. You need to get it if you see in stores. It is a little bit more golden than I usually like, but it is still gorgeous.

A Wet n Wild collection isn't complete without a few of their MegaLast polishes. They had quite a few new colors, but these three caught my eye. Cherry Blossom On Top is a classic springy fuschia that makes you think of flowers. Poppy Culture is a gorgeous red-orange, and Wild Wild Violet is just that. Wet n Wild's MegaLast polish is one of my favorite formulas. They are opaque, pigmented, creamy, and long lasting.  I love the brush, which is wider than most and it makes application a lot easier. I definitely recommend picking up a few of these. I will say that Wild Wild Violet was sheer and a bit streaky at first, but that went away after a second coat. The other two are perfection.

I love this collection! It is one of the best that Wet n Wild has ever done. I do wish they had a few eyeshadow trios with this collection. The packaging of the MegaGlo Multi-Sticks is adorable and springy, as are the floral inspired shade names. If you see these in store at Wal-Greens, you definitely need to pick up a few things up. I especially recommend the highlighting powder, liquid lipsticks, and the nail polish. This collection is very budget friendly with the most expensive item being $6.
